Hot Tub / Spa Service Technician
About this role
This role is suited to someone comfortable with mechanical, plumbing, electrical, water-care, and customer-facing work. You will inspect complete spa systems, identify the right repair path, and help customers understand what their hot tub needs.
Diagnostics & repair
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and service hot tubs, spas, pumps, heaters, circulation systems, and electrical control panels.
Inspect hot tub equipment and identify mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and water-circulation problems.
Test, repair, replace, and install spa pumps, motors, heating elements, spa packs, control systems, topside controls, valves, filters, and related components.
Perform electrical and operational testing of hot tub equipment to ensure proper and safe operation.
Diagnose and repair plumbing leaks, unions, fittings, hoses, jets, suction fittings, and other spa plumbing components.
Test and balance hot tub water chemistry and provide recommendations for proper water care.
Maintenance & service
Clean, inspect, replace, and service filtration systems and filter components.
Perform routine preventative maintenance and seasonal servicing of hot tubs and spas.
Perform hot tub winterization, drain-and-fill services, start-ups, inspections, and seasonal preparation.
Disassemble and reassemble equipment as required to access and repair components.
Customer support & safety
Explain identified problems, required repairs, and maintenance recommendations to customers.
Complete service reports, document repairs performed, and identify parts and materials required for future service.
Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow applicable workplace safety procedures.
Travel to residential and commercial customer locations to perform service and repair work.
Perform other related duties as required.
